If the woman's fallopian tubes are open and the sperm quality is acceptable (higher than 2 mil / ml), it makes sense to carry out 3-6 insemination treatments.
The treatment consists of inserting semen into the uterine cavity through a thin catheter at the time the woman is ovulating. In order to determine the time of ovulation, it is important that the woman has an ultrasound scan.

TREATMENT WITHOUT STIMULATION
This treatment involves simply monitoring with ultrasound scan the one egg cell maturing every month. Once the egg cell has grown to 18 mm in diameter, an ovulation-triggering injection is given. The actual insemination is carried out 1-2 days later. If you want more detailed information, don’t hesitate to contact the clinic.

Treatment with stimulation
In this treatment, the ovaries are stimulated to mature several eggs by means of hormones. Hormone treatment usually consists of a combination of tablets and injections. If you want more detailed information, don’t hesitate to contact the clinic.

Sperm sample
On the day of the insemination, the partner must supply a sperm sample before 8.00 in the morning. The sperm will be washed (gradient centrifugation), and the most active sperm cells will be used for insemination, which will take place later the same day; the exact time of insemination will be scheduled to suit you.
